FRMD5 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FRMD5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FRMD5 (D-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FRMD5, also known as FERM domain-containing protein 5, is a 570 amino acid single-pass membrane protein characterized by the presence of a FERM domain, which is crucial for linking cytoskeletal signals to membrane dynamics. FRMD5 is primarily located in the cell membrane, where FRMD5 plays a significant role in cellular signaling and structural integrity, making FRMD5 essential for processes such as cell adhesion and migration.
