    SEE ALSO...

FOXN4 Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects FOXN4 of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FOXN4 antibody (H-2) is available as the non-conjugated form. The human gene FOXN4 encodes a 476 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in retina development by regulating retinal progenitor cell differentiation. Specifically, FOXN4 is essential for amacrine and horizontal cell formation, activating the expression of key retinogenic factors such as MATH-3, Neuro D, and PROX1. This regulatory function ensures proper diversification of neuronal subtypes, critical for forming a functional visual system. Additionally, during spinal neurogenesis, FOXN4 is coexpressed with bHLH factor ASH1 in a subset of progenitors, influencing the balance between distinct interneuron subtypes. FOXN4′s ability to modulate ASH1 and other factors underscores its importance in neuronal development and potential implications in neurodevelopmental disorders.
