FMNL1 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FMNL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FMNL1 (A-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Formin-like protein 1 (FMNL1) is a 1,094 amino acid protein encoded by the mouse gene Fmnl1 and belongs to the formin homology family, characterized by unique structural domains, including one diaphanous autoregulatory domain, one formin homology 2 domain, and one Rho GTPase-binding/formin homology 3 domain. The structural integrity of FMNL1 facilitates the nucleation and elongation of actin filaments, which are essential for various cellular processes, including cell motility and morphology. FMNL1 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm and is highly expressed in immune-related tissues such as the spleen, lymph nodes, and bone marrow, where FMNL1 plays a significant role in regulating macrophage survival and motility. Additionally, FMNL1 has been shown to interact with proteins such as Rac 1, profilin 1, and profilin 2, which are vital for actin dynamics and cellular signaling pathways. By blocking apoptotic cell death and inhibiting cell adhesion and migration, FMNL1 contributes to the maintenance of immune responses and tissue homeostasis.
