Flt 3-L Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Flt 3-L of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Flt 3-L antibody (F-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Flt 3 ligand (Flt 3-L), also known as Flt 3/Flk 2 ligand, is a crucial hematopoietic growth factor that plays a significant role in the proliferation of stem and CD34+ progenitor cells, having been cloned from both mouse and human genomes. Flt 3-L stimulates the growth of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), interleukin-3 (IL-3), and G-CSF-dependent granulocyte-macrophage committed precursors derived from Lin CD34+ bone marrow cells, as well as other primitive B cell populations. Flt 3-L promotes the proliferation of hematopoietic progenitor cells isolated from mouse fetal liver or adult mouse bone marrow, without influencing the growth of erythroid-committed progenitors. Flt 3-L exists in two forms, functioning as both a soluble and membrane-bound ligand, which is essential for diverse biological activities. The receptor for Flt 3-L, known as Flt 3, is a tyrosine kinase expressed on CD34+ cells and shares a high degree of homology with the stem cell factor receptor, c-Kit, and c-Fms, highlighting Flt 3-L′s critical role in hematopoiesis and potential implications in therapeutic applications.
