FITC Antibody (FITC-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FITC protein of non-species reactive by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FITC monoclonal antibody (FITC-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) is a highly effective fluorochrome widely utilized in indirect immunofluorescence, forensics, and serology for detecting latent blood stains. The unique structure of FITC, characterized by its isothiocyanate group (-N=C=S), allows FITC to react with amine groups on proteins, facilitating targeted labeling of specific proteins or cellular structures.
