FITC Antibody (F4/1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-FITC antibody (F4/1) is particularly significant due to the unique structure of fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), which consists of a xanthene core that is highly fluorescent and capable of emitting bright green light upon excitation. This structural feature is crucial for its application in various biological assays, as FITC (F4/1) monoclonal antibody enables precise visualization of proteins and cellular components. The ability of fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) to emit fluorescence at 525 nm when excited at 494 nm makes FITC (F4/1) antibody an invaluable tool in research and clinical settings, enabling scientists to track and analyze the localization and dynamics of proteins within cells. Additionally, the reactivity of the isothiocyanate group with amine groups on proteins enhances the specificity of labeling, facilitating the study of protein interactions and functions. Anti-FITC antibody (F4/1) helps researchers gain deeper insights into cellular processes and the roles of specific proteins in health and disease.
