SEE ALSO...

FGF-8 Antibody (2A10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FGF-8 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FGF-8 antibody (2A10) is available as the non-conjugated format. FGF-8 plays a crucial role in embryonic development and tissue repair, acting as a signaling molecule that influences cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. FGF-8 is particularly important in limb and brain development, regulating growth and patterning of these structures. FGF-8 interacts with specific receptors, including FGFR1, FGFR2, and FGFR3, which are essential for mediating biological effects. Understanding FGF-8 function and interactions is vital for elucidating developmental processes and implications in diseases such as cancer, where aberrant FGF signaling can contribute to tumor growth and metastasis.
