SEE ALSO...

FGF-17 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FGF-17 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FGF-17 (B-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FGF-17, a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family, plays a critical role in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and embryonic development, particularly within the central nervous system and limb structures. FGF-17 is primarily located in the extracellular space, where FGF-17 interacts with fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs) to initiate signaling cascades that promote cellular proliferation and survival. This extracellular localization allows FGF-17 to influence neighboring cells, impacting tissue development and repair processes. Precise regulation of FGF-17 expression during embryogenesis highlights FGF-17′s importance in organogenesis and complex structure formation. Aberrations in FGF-17 signaling pathways have been implicated in various neurological disorders, making FGF-17 a significant target for therapeutic research.
