FCHO1 Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FCHO1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FCHO1 antibody (G-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FCH domain only 1 (FCHO1) is an 889 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of one FCH domain and exists in multiple alternatively spliced isoforms. FCHO1 plays a crucial role in clathrin-mediated endocytosis, a vital cellular process that facilitates internalization of membrane proteins and lipids, thereby influencing cellular signaling and nutrient uptake. FCHO1 is encoded on human chromosome 19, a region notable for high gene density and housing approximately 1,400 genes, including several members of the immunoglobulin superfamily. Understanding FCHO1 function is essential, as dysregulation can impact cellular homeostasis and contribute to various diseases, including cancer.
