FBXO25 Antibody (F9-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects FBXO25 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FBXO25, also known as F-box only protein 25, is a 367 amino acid protein characterized by a C-terminal F-box domain, which is essential for its role in the SCF (Skp1-CUL-1-F-box protein) type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. This complex is crucial for the ubiquitination process, allowing for the targeted degradation of various proteins that regulate key cellular functions, including the cell cycle and immune responses. Notably, FBXO25 is predominantly localized in the nucleus, where FBXO25 interacts directly with Skp1 p19 and CUL-1, facilitating the recognition and recruitment of substrates for ubiquitination. Proper functioning of FBXO25 is vital, as disruptions in FBXO25 can lead to severe consequences, such as X-linked mental retardation, highlighting its importance in neurodevelopmental processes. Anti-FBXO25 antibody (F9-3) is an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the intricate roles of ubiquitin ligases in cellular regulation and disease mechanisms.
