Datasheets
  • FBXO2 Antibody (A-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ FBXO2 antibody, cited in 5 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 140-171 within an internal region of FBXO2 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of FBXO2 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for FBXO2 Antibody (A-12) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with FBXO2 Antibody (A-12) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

FBXO2 Antibody (A-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects FBXO2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FBXO2 antibody (A-12) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. FBXO2, also known as F-box protein 2, FBX2, FBG1, or NFB42, is a 296 amino acid protein that plays a pivotal role in the SCF (Skp1-CUL-1-F-box protein) type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, which is essential for substrate recognition and recruitment for ubiquitination. FBXO2 contains one F-box domain and one F-box associated domain, allowing selective binding to phosphorylated substrates, thereby facilitating ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation. FBXO2 regulates various cellular processes, including cell cycle, immune responses, and signaling pathways, by targeting key proteins such as cyclins and IκB-α for degradation. Through modulation of these proteins, FBXO2 maintains cellular homeostasis and ensures proper cellular function, making FBXO2 a significant player in both normal physiology and disease states.
