    SEE ALSO...

Factor VIII Antibody (GMA-012) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody engineered to recognize human Factor VIII, also known as anti-hemophilic factor or von Willebrand factor-binding protein. Factor VIII is a vital glycoprotein cofactor in the blood coagulation cascade, playing an essential role in the activation of Factor X to Factor Xa, which ultimately leads to the formation of stable blood clots. Anti-Factor VIII antibody (GMA-012) targets the A2 domain of Factor VIII, specifically residues 497-510 and 584-593, allowing for precise detection in assays such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Factor VIII undergoes critical post-translational modifications, including glycosylation and phosphorylation, which are essential for stability, activity, and interaction with von Willebrand factor (VWF) in the bloodstream. These modifications ensure proper folding and function, preventing hemophilia A, a severe hereditary bleeding disorder caused by deficient or dysfunctional Factor VIII. Factor VIII monoclonal antibody (GMA-012) specifically recognizes Factor VIII without cross-reacting with VWF, enhancing reliability and specificity in various experimental and diagnostic applications. By enabling accurate detection and quantification of Factor VIII, Factor VIII (GMA-012) antibody supports research into molecular mechanisms of coagulation, development of targeted therapeutic interventions, and advancement of clinical diagnostics aimed at improving patient outcomes. Additionally, the precise epitope targeting of Factor VIII (GMA-012) monoclonal antibody facilitates detailed studies on structure-function relationships of Factor VIII, making GMA-012 an indispensable tool for laboratories focused on hemostasis, blood coagulation, and related biomedical research. Factor VIII monoclonal antibody (GMA-012) provides researchers and clinicians with a robust and reliable means to investigate and address Factor VIII-related disorders effectively.
