EXOSC10 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EXOSC10 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-EXOSC10 antibody (B-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EXOSC10, also known as PMSCL, PMSCL2, and RRP6, is an 885 amino acid protein characterized by one HRDC domain and one 3′-5′ exoribonuclease domain, which plays a crucial role in the exosome complex. This multi-subunit complex is essential for degrading unstable mRNAs, particularly those containing AU-rich elements in untranslated regions, thereby regulating gene expression and maintaining cellular homeostasis. EXOSC10 is found in both cytoplasm and nucleus, participating in mRNA surveillance, nuclear export of mRNA, and nonsense-mediated decay pathway, which eliminates mRNAs with premature stop codons. Antibodies against EXOSC10 have been associated with autoimmune diseases such as scleroderma and polymyositis, suggesting involvement in disease pathogenesis. Two isoforms of EXOSC10 arise from alternative splicing, contributing to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms within cells.
