Exendin 4 Antibody (ABS 012-24) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Exendin 4 in Heloderma suspectum by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Exendin 4 is a 39 amino acid peptide produced exclusively by the salivary glands of the Gila Monster, Heloderma suspectum, and acts as an agonist of the Glucagon-like peptide (GLP) receptor, contributing to anorexigenic and fat-reducing properties. Exendin 4 helps regulate appetite and glucose metabolism, making this peptide essential for managing type 2 diabetes.
