SEE ALSO...

EWS Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EWS protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-EWS antibody (G-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EWS protein is a nuclear RNA-binding protein that plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and RNA processing. EWS protein′s importance is underscored by involvement in chromosomal translocations that lead to fusion proteins, such as EWS/Fli-1, which are implicated in the pathogenesis of Ewing sarcoma and other neoplasias. EWS/Fli-1 fusion protein acts as a potent transcriptional activator, enhancing the expression of target genes that promote cell proliferation and transformation. Understanding the functional dynamics of EWS and interactions with various transcription factors is vital for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis, making anti-EWS antibody (G-5) an essential tool for researchers studying cancer biology and therapeutic targets.
