ERRα Antibody (1ERR87) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ERRα in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. ERRα, or estrogen-related receptor alpha, is a crucial nuclear receptor that belongs to the superfamily of ligand-regulated transcription factors and is part of the NR3B orphan nuclear receptor subgroup. ERRα plays a significant role in modulating the estrogen signaling pathway and is particularly important for regulating mitochondrial biogenesis and oxidative metabolism, as ERRα directly influences the expression of genes essential for mitochondrial function.
