SEE ALSO...

ephrin-A1 Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ephrin-A1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ephrin-A1 (A-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ephrin-A1 plays a crucial role in cell signaling and communication, particularly in nervous system development, where ephrin-A1 acts as a ligand for EphA2 receptors, influencing processes such as cell adhesion, migration, and axon guidance. Understanding ephrin-A1 function is vital, as dysregulation has been implicated in various neurological disorders and cancers, highlighting ephrin-A1 as a potential therapeutic target. The Eph family, to which ephrin-A1 belongs, represents the largest group of receptor protein kinases identified to date, and ongoing research continues to uncover the complexities of their interactions and functions in both normal physiology and disease states.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-377362 P appropriate for?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
