ENL Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ENL of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ENL (D-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ENL, also known as MLLT1, plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation and is involved in the formation of MLL fusion proteins, which are significant in the context of leukemia. ENL interacts with several key partners, including the MLL gene, which influences myelomonocytic differentiation. Fusion of ENL with MLL, resulting from chromosomal translocations, leads to the production of MLL-ENL fusion protein, commonly associated with infant acute leukemias. This interaction alters normal gene expression patterns, contributing to the pathogenesis of various leukemias. ENL activation of transcription from synthetic reporter genes in both lymphoid and myeloid cells underscores ENL′s importance in hematopoietic malignancies, making anti-ENL antibody (D-6) an essential tool for researchers studying these complex diseases.
