Endoglycan Antibody (Y122) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects Endoglycan protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-Endoglycan antibody (Y122) is available as the non-conjugated format. Endoglycan, also known as podocalyxin-like 2, plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and signaling, functioning as a ligand for L-selectin, which is essential for leukocyte trafficking during immune responses. Endoglycan is primarily located on the surface of endothelial cells and hematopoietic precursors, where Endoglycan facilitates the rolling and tethering of circulating leukocytes on vascular surfaces, a process vital for effective immune surveillance and inflammation.
