eIF4G Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects eIF4G in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). eIF4G plays a crucial role in the initiation of protein synthesis in eukaryotic cells by forming part of the eukaryotic initiation complex eIF4F, which is essential for ribosome binding to mRNA.
