eIF4E2抗体(YB-18)是一种IgG1 κ型小鼠单克隆eIF4E2抗体(也称为eIF4E2抗体),通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人源eIF4E2蛋白。eIF4E2抗体(YB-18)是一种非偶联的抗eIF4E2抗体。真核细胞中蛋白质合成的起始由蛋白质起始因子和RNA分子之间的相互作用调节。真核细胞起始因子4E家族(eukaryotic initiation factor 4E family, eIF4E)由三种蛋白质组成,参与蛋白质合成的早期启动。eIF4E2(真核翻译起始因子4E家族成员2)又称4EHP、IF4e、4E- lp或EIF4EL3,是一种广泛表达的245个氨基酸的蛋白质。在早期翻译过程中,eIF4E2识别并结合含7-甲基鸟苷的mRNA帽(一种协同转录添加的结构,传递mRNA稳定性,并允许有效的RNA加工),从而启动mRNA二级结构的解旋,并促进mRNA-核糖体结合。eIF4E2与eIF4E(成员1)竞争帽结合,并被泛素样蛋白ISG15(干扰素诱导的15 kDa蛋白)修饰后,表现出增加的mRNA帽亲和力。

Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal antibody, eIF4E2 (YB-18): sc-100731, is raised against full length recombinant eIF4E2 of human origin. The exact epitope recognized by this antibody has not been determined.

Can sc-100731: eIF4E2 (YB-18) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-100731: eIF4E2 (YB-18) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
