    SEE ALSO...

EGFL8 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects EGFL8 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-EGFL8 antibody (F-6) is available as a non-conjugated format. EGFL8, also known as C6orf8, NG3, and VE-statin-2, is a 293 amino acid secreted protein characterized by two EGF-like domains and one EMI domain, which are crucial for mediating protein-protein interactions. These interactions play a vital role in cellular proliferation and developmental signaling pathways, influencing various biological processes. EGFL8 expression is predominantly observed in brain, kidney, lung, and thymus of mice, highlighting importance in organ-specific functions and potential implications in developmental biology and disease states. Anti-EGFL8 antibody (F-6) enables exploration of EGFL8′s roles in cellular dynamics and potential as a biomarker in various conditions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-377016 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
