EGFL7 Antibody (2H2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects EGFL7 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-EGFL7 antibody (2H2) is available as the non-conjugated form. The epidermal growth factor-like 7 (EGFL7) protein plays a crucial role in vascular development and is particularly important for regulating vascular tubulogenesis in vivo, which is essential for proper blood vessel formation and function. EGFL7 is secreted and specifically expressed by endothelial cells in the heart, lung, and kidney, highlighting EGFL7′s significance in maintaining vascular integrity and function in these critical organs. In vitro studies have shown that EGFL7 inhibits platelet-derived growth factor-induced smooth muscle cell migration, thereby contributing to the regulation of vascular remodeling.
