EGFL7 Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EGFL7 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-EGFL7 antibody (B-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EGFL7 plays a crucial role in vascular tubulogenesis, a process essential for blood vessel formation, vital for proper tissue oxygenation and nutrient delivery. EGFL7 is specifically expressed by endothelial cells in heart, lung, and kidney, highlighting importance in maintaining vascular integrity and function. EGFL7 has been shown to inhibit platelet-derived growth factor-induced smooth muscle cell migration while promoting endothelial cell adhesion to extracellular matrix, thereby influencing both vascular development and repair mechanisms. Understanding EGFL7 function is critical, as dysregulation of vascular processes can lead to various pathologies, including cardiovascular diseases and tumor progression.
