EDA Antibody (3E12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects EDA protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-EDA antibody (3E12) is available as a non-conjugated format. Ectodysplasin A (EDA) plays a crucial role in ectodermal structure development, and EDA dysfunction links to X-linked anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia, characterized by hypotrichosis, abnormal teeth, and absent sweat glands. EDA protein primarily localizes in hair follicles and adult skin epidermis, co-localizing with cytoskeletal structures at lateral and apical cell surfaces.
