E-Selectin Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects E-Selectin in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). E-Selectin, also known as ELAM-1 or CD62E, is a crucial adhesion molecule expressed on the surface of endothelial cells in response to pro-inflammatory cytokines. Anti-E-Selectin antibody (A-10) recognizes a protein that mediates the adhesion of leukocytes to the vascular endothelium during inflammatory responses, which is vital for the recruitment of immune cells to sites of injury or infection. E-Selectin′s ability to facilitate this process is essential for effective immune surveillance and response, as this mechanism helps ensure leukocytes can exit the bloodstream and migrate to tissues where needed. E-Selectin′s interaction with specific carbohydrates on leukocytes underscores a role in the complex signaling pathways that regulate inflammation and immune responses. Anti-E-Selectin antibody (A-10) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying these critical processes in human health and disease.
