    SEE ALSO...

DTWD1 Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DTWD1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-DTWD1 antibody (E-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DTWD1, also known as DTW domain-containing protein 1 or MDS009, consists of 304 amino acids and features a unique DXTW motif, classifying DTWD1 within the DTW family. DTWD1 exists in three alternatively spliced isoforms and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 15q21.2, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Angelman and Prader-Willi syndromes, which arise from deletions or mutations in the 15q11-q13 region. DTWD1 plays a crucial role in cellular processes, including the regulation of protein degradation pathways, which are vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing the accumulation of damaged proteins. Understanding DTWD1 function is essential, as dysregulation of these pathways can lead to various diseases, highlighting anti-DTWD1 antibody (E-5)′s importance in research and diagnostic applications.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398408 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
