DPRP2 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DPRP2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DPRP2 Antibody (F-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DPRP2, also known as DPP9 or DP9, is a member of the peptidase S9B family and is characterized by prolyl oligopeptidase activity, which is crucial for the regulation of peptide hormones and other bioactive peptides. DPRP2 is predominantly localized in the cytoplasm and is widely expressed, with significant levels found in the heart, muscle, and liver tissues. DPRP2′s ability to cleave Xaa-Pro dipeptides from the N-termini of proteins is vital for modulating various physiological processes, including the regulation of signaling pathways influenced by peptide hormones. Additionally, DPRP2 interacts with specific voltage-gated potassium channels, potentially altering their expression and biophysical properties, which may have implications for T cell function and overall immune response. Understanding DPRP2′s role in these processes is essential, as dysregulation of dipeptidyl peptidases has been linked to diseases such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cancer, highlighting DPRP2′s importance in both health and disease.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with DPRP2 (F-1): sc-271634?

Asked by: Cweed
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
