SEE ALSO...

DnaJA2 Antibody (7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DnaJA2 protein of mouse, rat, human, and canine origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-DnaJA2 antibody (7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose and horseradish peroxidase (HRP). The DnaJ family, to which DnaJA2 belongs, is one of the largest chaperone families and is characterized by diverse cellular localization and functions, primarily defined by the presence of the J domain. DnaJA2, also known as HIRA-interacting protein 4 or cell cycle progression restoration gene 3 protein, plays a pivotal role in cellular stress response by acting as a co-chaperone for HSC 70, facilitating proper folding and stabilization of proteins under stress conditions. DnaJA2 is particularly important in cellular homeostasis, helping prevent aggregation of misfolded proteins, which can lead to cellular dysfunction and disease. DnaJA2 contains a CR-type zinc finger, which is crucial for interaction with other proteins and contributes to chaperone activity. DnaJA2′s ability to regulate protein folding and degradation underscores significance in maintaining cellular integrity and function, making DnaJA2 a valuable target for research in various biological and pathological processes.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with DnaJA2 (7): sc-136515?

Asked by: Trav11
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
