Dlx-3 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Dlx-3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Dlx-3 antibody (B-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dlx-3 protein plays a crucial role in craniofacial skeleton development and is essential for proper differentiation of structures within and between teeth. Dlx-3 belongs to the Dlx gene family, which consists of six homeobox-containing genes highly conserved across species and vital for regulating developmental processes. Dlx-3 primarily localizes in the nucleus, functioning as a transcriptional activator and influencing gene expression patterns critical for morphogenesis and histogenesis in craniofacial tissues. Precise regulation of Dlx-3 expression remains important, as dysregulation can lead to developmental disorders, highlighting Dlx-3′s significance in normal tissue development and potential implications in craniofacial anomalies.
