SEE ALSO...

Dlx-2 Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Dlx-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Dlx-2 (B-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dlx-2 protein plays a crucial role in the development of the craniofacial skeleton and is involved in the differentiation of structures within and between teeth, making Dlx-2 essential for proper tissue morphogenesis. Dlx-2 is part of a highly conserved family of homeobox genes, which are critical for regulating gene expression during embryonic development. Dlx-2 genes are expressed in specific patterns in various tissues, including the craniofacial primordia and the developing brain, influencing the formation and organization of these structures. Dlx-2′s ability to activate transcription and predominant localization in the nucleus underscore Dlx-2′s importance in developmental processes, as Dlx-2 orchestrates the intricate signaling pathways necessary for the proper formation of craniofacial and dental structures.
