Dia 2 Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Dia 2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Dia 2 (H-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dia 2 protein, also known as DIAPH2 (diaphanous homolog 2), DRF2, or mDia3, is a critical member of the formin homology protein family, which plays a vital role in actin filament dynamics. Specifically, anti-Dia 2 antibody (H-3) targets a protein involved in regulating actin polymerization through diaphanous autoregulatory domain and Rho GTPase-binding domain, which together facilitate elongation of actin filaments essential for various cellular processes, including cell motility and division. Dia 2 expression is particularly prominent in testis and ovary, suggesting involvement in reproductive functions such as oogenesis. Mutations in Dia 2 gene have been linked to premature ovarian failure type 2A, a condition resulting in diminished ovarian function, highlighting Dia 2′s significance in reproductive health. Dia 2 exists as three alternatively spliced isoforms, which may contribute to functional diversity in different cellular contexts.
