Dia 1 Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Dia 1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Dia 1, also known as DIAPH1 or DRF1, is a crucial member of the formin homology protein family, characterized by tandemly aligned formin homology 1 and formin homology 2 domains, which are essential for actin filament dynamics. Dia 1 (D-3) antibody enables research into the assembly of F-actin structures, facilitating the polymerization and depolymerization of actin filaments, which is critical for various cellular processes, including cell motility, shape maintenance, and division. Dia 1 is predominantly localized to the cell membrane and is expressed across multiple tissues, including the brain, heart, lung, and kidney, highlighting its importance in diverse physiological functions.
