    Dexras1/2 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Dexras1/2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Dexras1/2 (C-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dexras1, also known as RASD1, is a steroid hormone-dependent, Ras-related GTPase that plays a crucial role in regulating cell morphology, growth, and interactions with the extracellular matrix, making Dexras1 vital for maintaining cellular architecture and function. Dexras1 is involved in modulating receptor-mediated signaling pathways, particularly those associated with Gbeta/gamma (heterotrimeric G protein) signaling, and couples NMDA receptor activity and light input to Gi/o and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) activation. Dexras2, also referred to as Rhes, is predominantly expressed in the striatal region of the brain and is implicated in mediating signal transduction cascades influenced by dopamine, which may affect dopamine receptor sensitivity. Both Dexras1 and Dexras2 define a unique subfamily within the Ras family, characterized by an extended variable domain in their carboxyl terminal region, highlighting their distinct functional roles in cellular signaling and neurobiology.
