SEE ALSO...

DET1 Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DET1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DET1 Antibody (F-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DET1, or de-etiolated homolog 1, is a highly conserved nuclear protein consisting of 550 amino acids, predominantly expressed in the ovary, certain lymphoid organs, and resting leukocytes. DET1 plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression and is a key component of the E3 ubiquitin ligase Doublecortin DET1-COP1 complex, which is essential for the ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of the proto-oncogenic transcription factor c-Jun. Notably, DET1 enhances the activity of several members of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family and modulates the functions of Cul-4A, thereby influencing various cellular processes. DET1′s importance extends to its involvement in multiple plant developmental processes, where DET1 acts as a vital negative regulator of photomorphogenesis, ensuring that plants adapt appropriately to light conditions.
