    DENND2D Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects DENND2D protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DENND2D antibody (H-6) is available as the non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. DENND2D protein consists of 471 amino acids, features a dDENN domain, a DENN domain, and a uDENN domain, and exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing. DENND2D protein plays a crucial role in targeting actin filaments and regulating Rab9-dependent trafficking of the mannose-6-phosphate receptor to lysosomes, which is essential for proper lysosomal function and cellular waste management. The gene encoding DENND2D is located on human chromosome 1, the largest chromosome in the human genome, which spans approximately 260 million base pairs and constitutes about 8% of the genome. Notably, chromosome 1 also harbors other significant genes, such as LMNA, linked to Hutchinson-Gilford progeria, and the MUTYH gene, associated with familial adenomatous polyposis, highlighting the importance of this chromosomal region in various genetic disorders.
