Dendritic Cell marker Antibody (1F119) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects the Dendritic Cell marker protein of mouse and rat origin by immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FCM). Dendritic Cell marker (1F119) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), providing flexibility for different experimental needs. Dendritic cells play a pivotal role in the immune system as potent antigen-presenting cells, essential for the initiation of T cell responses, antigen capture, and migration, which are crucial for effective cell-mediated immunity. These cells are strategically located in various non-lymphoid tissues, where they actively take up and process antigens. Upon stimulation, dendritic cells undergo maturation and migrate to secondary lymphoid tissues, where they present processed antigens on their surface in conjunction with major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules. This interaction is vital for the activation of T cells, thereby influencing the adaptive immune response. The ability of dendritic cells to interact with specific proteins, such as CD40 and CD80, further enhances their function in T cell activation and differentiation, making Dendritic Cell marker (1F119) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying immune responses and dendritic cell biology.
