DDX49 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects DDX49 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDX49 Antibody (C-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDX49, also known as DEAD-box protein 49, is a 483 amino acid protein characterized by its unique structure, which includes one helicase ATP-binding domain and one helicase C-terminal domain. This structural configuration enables DDX49 to function effectively as an RNA helicase, playing a significant role in the unwinding of RNA during pre-mRNA splicing events. DDX49 functions are essential for the regulation of gene expression and the maintenance of cellular homeostasis, facilitating the assembly of ribonucleoprotein complexes necessary for RNA processing. DDX49 serves as a key player in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division, making DDX49 an important target for research in developmental biology and cancer studies.
