SEE ALSO...

DDX36 Antibody (B-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DDX36 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDX36 Antibody (B-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDX36, also known as DEAH box protein 36, is a crucial RNA helicase that plays a significant role in RNA metabolism regulation, particularly in degradation and deadenylation of mRNAs containing AU-rich elements in their 3′-untranslated region. This function maintains cellular homeostasis and regulates gene expression, especially during processes such as spermatogenesis and sex development, where precise control of mRNA stability is essential. DDX36 features a unique structure, including one helicase ATP-binding domain and one helicase C-terminal domain, enabling interactions with various RNA substrates and other proteins involved in RNA processing. Three isoforms of DDX36, resulting from alternative splicing, further highlight this protein′s complexity and versatility in cellular functions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-377485 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
