DDX25 Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DDX25 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDX25 Antibody (F-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDX25, also known as gonadotropin-regulated testicular RNA helicase (GRTH), is a testis-specific member of the DEAD-box protein family, predominantly located in Leydig and germ cells. DDX25 plays a crucial role in spermatogenesis, possessing both ATPase and RNA helicase activities, which are essential for regulating translational processes such as mRNA nuclear export during spermatid development. DDX25 undergoes phosphorylation on threonine residues, with the phosphorylated form localized exclusively in the cytoplasm, highlighting DDX25′s importance in cellular signaling pathways. Additionally, DDX25 is up-regulated by gonadotropin at the transcriptional level, and genetic variations in DDX25 have been implicated in male infertility due to spermatogenic impairment, making DDX25 a significant target for research in reproductive biology and potential therapeutic interventions.
