DDEFL1 Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects DDEFL1 in mouse samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDEFL1, also known as development and differentiation enhancing factor-like 1, ACAP4, UPLC1, CENTB6, or ASAP3, is a 903 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that acts as an ADP-ribosylation factor GTPase-activating protein. DDEFL1 is characterized by two ankyrin repeats, an Arf-GAP domain, and a pleckstrin homology (PH) domain, all essential for regulating GTP hydrolysis bound to Arf proteins. This regulation promotes cell differentiation and migration, processes particularly important in development and cancer progression, as DDEFL1 has been implicated in hepatocellular carcinoma pathogenesis. DDEFL1 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 1, which contains over 3,000 genes and comprises nearly 8% of the human genome. anti-DDEFL1 antibody (G-12) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying this protein′s roles in various biological contexts.
