Dcun1D1/2 Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Dcun1D1/2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Dcun1D1/2 antibody (A-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dcun1D1, also known as Defective in cullin neddylation protein 1-like protein 1, plays a crucial role in regulating the hedgehog signaling pathway, which is essential for cellular development, tissue maintenance, and regeneration. Dcun1D1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where Dcun1D1 interacts with cullin proteins to facilitate neddylation, a post-translational modification vital for proper functioning of the ubiquitin-proteasome system. Dysregulation of this process can lead to aberrant protein degradation and has been implicated in various cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer, where Dcun1D1 overexpression is associated with invasive tumor progression and poor patient outcomes. Co-expression of Dcun1D1 with vascular endothelial growth factor-A highlights Dcun1D1′s role in promoting angiogenesis, making Dcun1D1 a significant target for understanding tumor biology and potential therapeutic interventions.
