    SEE ALSO...

DcR1 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DcR1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DcR1 (C-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. DcR1, also known as decoy receptor 1, plays a crucial role in modulating apoptotic signaling pathways initiated by tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and its receptors. Located on the cell surface, DcR1 acts as a decoy that binds to TNF ligands without triggering apoptosis, thereby providing a protective mechanism against cell death. This function is particularly important in cancer, where tumor cells may exploit this pathway to evade apoptosis and promote survival. Understanding DcR1 interactions and regulatory mechanisms can provide insights into potential therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing apoptosis in cancer cells, making DcR1 a significant target for further investigation in cancer biology.
