DAP-3 Antibody (4H75) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects DAP-3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). DAP-3 is a crucial nucleotide-binding protein that plays a significant role in the regulation of programmed cell death, acting as a positive mediator of apoptosis. DAP-3 ensures the proper elimination of damaged or unwanted cells, thereby maintaining tissue homeostasis and preventing the development of cancer. DAP-3 operates downstream of receptor signaling complexes, and pro-apoptotic effects are contingent upon the activity of caspases, which are essential enzymes in the apoptosis pathway.
