Cytoglobin Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects cytoglobin protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-cytoglobin antibody (D-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cytoglobin, also known as histoglobin, plays a crucial role in oxygen transport and storage, functioning as a vital component in the diffusion of oxygen through tissues. Cytoglobin acts as a scavenger for nitric oxide and other reactive oxygen species, thereby protecting cells from oxidative stress.
