Cyr61 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Cyr61 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cyr61 (A-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cyr61, also known as CCN1, is a secreted heparin-binding protein that plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, migration, and proliferation, particularly in vascular endothelial cells. CCN1 is encoded by a growth factor-inducible immediate-early gene and belongs to the CCN family of proteins, which are key regulators of angiogenesis and vasculogenesis. Cyr61 interacts with cell surface receptor Integrin αvβ3, facilitating adhesion and migration of endothelial cells, which is vital for processes such as wound healing and tissue repair.
