Cyclin YL1 Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects cyclin YL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-cyclin YL1 antibody (D-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cyclin YL1, also known as CCNYL1, is a 359 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in regulating cell cycle by acting as a regulatory subunit in cyclin-dependent kinase complexes. These complexes ensure precise control of cell proliferation by guiding cell cycle progression through various stages. Cyclin YL1 regulates specific kinase activities necessary for transitions between different cell cycle phases. This 359 amino acid protein contains one cyclin N-terminal domain and belongs to the cyclin Y subfamily, with three alternatively spliced isoforms encoded by a gene on human chromosome 2. Cyclin YL1 expression and stability fluctuate throughout the cell cycle, enabling proper timing of kinase activation and cell division.
