Cyclin T1 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects cyclin T1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-cyclin T1 antibody (C-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cyclin T1 plays a crucial role in regulating transcription elongation by forming a complex with cyclin-dependent kinase 9 (Cdk9), which is essential for phosphorylating the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II. This phosphorylation enables RNA polymerase II to transition from transcription initiation to elongation, facilitating mRNA production.
