CtBP Antibody (E-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CtBP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CtBP (E-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CtBP1 monoclonal antibody (E-12) recognizes a key cellular phosphoprotein that functions as a transcriptional corepressor, regulating gene expression and maintaining cellular homeostasis. CtBP1 (E-12) antibody targets a protein that interacts with δEF1, a zinc finger-homeodomain protein, enhancing transcriptional silencing during skeletal and T-cell development. CtBP1 forms complexes with CtIP, a protein binding to BRCT repeats of breast cancer gene BRCA1, influencing BRCA1′s activity. CtBP1 inhibits transactivation of p21 promoter, a critical regulator of cell cycle and DNA damage response, demonstrating significance in cellular stress responses and potential cancer biology implications.
