CTAGE2/5 Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CTAGE2/5 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CTAGE2/5 (B-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CTAGE2, a member of the cancer/testis antigen family, plays a significant role in tumor immunology, as CTAGE2 is primarily expressed in the testis and is associated with cutaneous T cell lymphomas (CTCL), a challenging group of malignancies that arise from CD4-T lymphocytes and often present on the skin. CTAGE2 expression in tumors, particularly in CTCL, highlights CTAGE2′s potential as a target for immunotherapy, as CTAGE2 is typically absent in normal tissues, thereby reducing the risk of off-target effects. Additionally, CTAGE2 and CTAGE5, which is also implicated in various tumors, undergo alternative splicing, resulting in multiple isoforms that may have distinct functions or roles in tumor progression. This unique expression pattern and the potential for isoform-specific interactions make anti-CTAGE2/5 antibody (B-1) a valuable tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of CTCL and exploring novel therapeutic strategies.
